Drs. McDonald and Wolfley met while at school and have become really good friends since. Their practice styles and philosophy are similar which benefits patients in continuity of care without much interruption. Each doctor is unique in their own special way, as you will notice as you begin care at ChiroTrendz. One thing is certain, that both Drs. McDonald and Wolfley are concerned about the individuality of their patients and seek to make them feel important while mixing in a little bit of fun.
Dr Jason grew up wanting to make a difference in life and he knew that he needed to go big or get out of the way. He didn't always grow up wanting to be a Chiropractor like many in the Chiropractic profession do at times. Dr McDonald's love and passion for Chiropractic developed slowly over time and has gained increasing momentum in recent years. Dr McDonald was first exposed to manipulation while working for a concrete company in Las Vegas where he injured his low back lifting a concrete form that was too heavy. The care he received, which included manipulation, allowed him to heal and recover fast and get back to work. Dr Jason married Kristin shortly after serving a church mission to New York eighteen years ago and it wasn't long after that their first daughter, Katelynd, was born. Thirteen months later Lindsay joined the family. With all the female drama in the house, Dr Jason welcomed his only boy, Jacob, hoping to even the score, but to no avail because Lauren, their youngest, kept the boys outnumbered 2 to 1. The McDonald's were all born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, with the exception of Kristin, who was born in Washington state but was raised in Las Vegas since she was 3. When Dr Jason was accepted to Logan College of Chiropractic, now Logan University, the whole family had to make big changes and move to Missouri for the duration of the doctorate program. Despite the many friends that were made in Missouri and the intense experiences that shaped their lives, the McDonald's were Desert Rat's at heart and longed for the desert once again. The McDonald's moved to Queen Creek in 2013 with a longing to establish themselves in the area.
Dr. Kolby grew up with a passion and desire for helping other people. He wanted to be a pediatrician so that he could work with children (another one of his passions) and help people at the same time. The thing that he did not like about this was the fact that he would see kids come in who were for the most part sick and one of the only ways to help them is prescribe them medication. While working on his undergraduate degree in Biology, he met a chiropractor, Dr. Lawrence Clayman, who began mentoring him. While learning from Dr. Lawrence , Dr. Kolby found the holistic approach he was looking for. Dr. Kolby transitions from the mainstream medical route to a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Kolby realized that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He could accomplish his dream that this would allow him to have the ability to work with children and help them achieve health naturally. Dr. Kolby is the father of 4 children. In their free time the Wolfley families loves to spend time together being active. They love to go camping, hiking and being near the water.
